Carole Scobling

I started at night school doing pottery some years ago.  I love working in clay, but, by joining Wessex Sculptors, I hoped to try other mediums.  Self-taught at sculpture, but with the inspiration of other Wessex Sculptors members, I want to improve and move on to bigger and better things.

More recently, I have been inspired to try working in other mediums other than clay.  Large outdoor forms work well in ciment fondu over a wire armature.  We have also had workshops in wire work and block carving.  I continue to improve and experiment as time goes on.
