Join us for a wire sculpture workshop on Saturday 24th February at our studio, at which invited artist Jane Clift will show you the necessary techniques of hand weaving wire to sculpt one of our most recognisable birds, the swallow. You will be using wire, pliers and cutters to make your sculpture to take home with you at the end of the day. Stakes will be available to purchase on the day should you wish to display your swallow in the garden.
Our one day workshops run from 10am to 4pm. Tools, materials and light refreshment are provided but you would neeed to bring your own lunch. The cost for Wessex Sculptor members is £70 and non-members £90. Full payment in advance is required to secure a place on this workshop.
